The main goal of studying ‘Business Law’ is to understand the legal regulations in carrying out a business in India. The course focuses on the contract law, the elements and different types of contracts, the rules and regulations in the formation and operation of a company under the Companies Act, the features of a Limited Liability Partnership or LLP and the process of its formation and incorporation.
Students are introduced to the contract of sale and the legal regulations of buying and selling goods under the Sale of Goods Act.
This course also imparts knowledge on the Information Technology Act. Students will learn the basics of cyber law and be aware of the penalties and adjudication against cybercrime.
