Description

Paying attention to the present moment and to experience it with open curiosity and a willingness to be with what is known as Mindfulness.

In today’s time, the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis is unparalleled. Psychological impacts of self-isolation, social distancing and separation from loved ones can aggregate or spark the syndrome of mental health issues like heightened anxiety, increased stress and fear in many.

Considering the stressful lives of today’s world, Mindful Mandala Art is also an effort to engage more and more people into the world of Art, keeping in mind its therapeutic benefits as Mandala Art is the best way to release your stress and helps your mind relax and rejuvenate.

Mandala is a Sanskrit word that means 'Circle' or a 'Universe'. Mandala art is a splendid art, starts with a small dot, and with careful movements can turn into a beautiful cluster of colors and formations. It is a meditative art form that helps one rejuvenate, release stress, develop focus and find inner self.

Course Objective

Human body/mind is the most complex planet in the cosmos. It takes time and practice to use it effectively and harmoniously.

The 21 days Retreat Mandala Art Course will help you to discover your inner self and lead a mindful life because maintaining a state of mindfulness leads to a relaxed state of well being and maximum productivity.

During this period you will learn concepts and techniques to draw and create your own Mandala with easy patterns and grids, which can develop your strength to:

  • Cope with stress
  • Be fully present and alive at this moment
  • Bring Overall happiness

This course is highly experiential and the daily practice is perhaps the most essential element. For this reason, we recommend that you set aside about 30 minutes a day for practice. This may be the most challenging hindrance you encounter in getting started because one of the very problems you are facing maybe not having enough time for all that needs to get done in a day - how are you going to find an extra 30 minutes?

Course Outline

The course will be divided into 3 stages of 7 days each.

Stage 1 - The Shadow of Stress

"In today's rush, we all think too much--seek too much--want too much--and forget about the joy of just being." - Eckhart Tolle

  • Starts with a LIVE session (60 mins) on exploring the simple techniques to learn Mandala patterns
  • Followed by offline practice sheets for 1 week (30 mins/day)

In this phase, you will experience the resistance from your inner self and you will face difficulties to find those 30 mins for yourself.

But GREAT HABITS ARE FORMED DAILY. Truth be told, good habits require consistent commitment. Make the commitment to make it past the fight thru, no matter how many times you go back to it, to reach new levels of success.

Stage 2 - Power of Being In Present

"Be happy in the moment, that's enough. Each moment is all we need, not more." - Mother Teresa

The state of being alive and whole in the present moment is always available, but it typically eludes us, especially in times of difficulty and external pressures.

  • An interactive LIVE session (60 mins) on exploring little advanced techniques of Mandala Art to enjoy the waves of calmness it brings to you.
  • Followed by offline practice sheets for 1 week (30 mins/day)

In this stage, you will be experiencing significant change to your current pattern. Winning each fight thru will make it easier to win the next. Be totally honest with yourself, and allow yourself to feel what life will be like if the changes are not made.

Stage 3 - Seduction to Self-Retreat

An individual begins to focus on positive results and begins to think, “I’m the special one. I have finally figured out how to have great results with not so great process.”

  • Begin with follow-up on previous week learning and more advanced techniques on Mandala Art
  • By the end of the 3rd week, you will be accustomed to this new norm
  • More Focused and clarity of thoughts
  • Relaxed Mind and Body
  • Will be able to build a relationship with yourself.
