Description

Problem Statement - Concrete deteriorates when Exposed to the environment, which significantly influence its service behaviour design life and safety.

Challenge description with context - Cracking of concrete inadequate, Cover and quality of cover for the R/F, and the overall quality of the structural concrete are the three major factors that encourage the transport mechanism of aggressive agents, such as chloride and sulphate into concrete. To overcome this problem Basalt fiber and Crumb rubber are the option.

Problem - Various test to be carried out by adding such fibers like basalt as advance construction material and crumb rubber as waste materials in normal concrete and checking out strength of concrete compression as well as tensile and compare result with normal concrete and get some conclusion from them.
