Problem Statement - IOT and AI based Smart City Solution for Public Utilities like surveillance, garbage pickup, road maintenance, encroachment detection, incident reporting, virtual patrolling etc.
Challenge description with context - For big cities, checking of thousands of cameras and its network is a cumbersome task. Generally, a single control room with 20-30 screens are there for monitoring the huge network. With the help of image and video processing and AI tools, the normalcy and anomaly can be determined based on feeding the historical data. The control room then will filter the images and cameras with anomalies in them. Object detection and identification based classification should be done.
Problem – The control room of the smart city might have a 15-20 screens with a lot of cameras installed at various places. Not all of them are important for the control room authorities. Hence, the system will highlight any anomaly and display with caption the type of issue using AI and iot based solution.
Users – Smart City Authority Police Corporation Authority Road and Building authority
Expected Outcomes - Better surveillance and better coordination among police, smart city authority and various other govt departments and better services for the citizens.
