Problem Statement - Automatic sorting and retrieving of goods according to the barcode mark on them.
Challenge description with context - Warehouse management is commonly associated with six basic tenets: accuracy, cost control, efficiency, cleanliness, safety and security, but the underlying processes are complex and dynamic, presenting major problems for warehouse managers across industries. Redundant Processes Traditionally, warehouse employees have been likely to handle a product several times due to the nature of the warehousing process. This tendency lingers on in current practices.
Problem – Manual sorting of goods is solved by automatic sorting with the use of barcode. In industry sorting is done by labours so this will increase the time and the labour cost and the efficiency of the system is not good as sometimes error can be done by any human but this is not the case in automatic sorting.
Users – Industries, Malls, Shopkeepers.
Expected Outcomes - From this project time required is going to be less and also the cost of labour is going to be reduced because the system is fully automatic. Also the storage capacity will be improved. Real-Time inventory information, improved storage capacity, Reduced energy use, and injuries, Reduced product damage, and improve warehouse efficiency
