  • Heat transfer mechanisms in Buildings (passive heat gain and losses)

Module 3 : Light and LIT Environment

Description

This unit is about daylight performance analysis to understand visual comfort for humans and effective design of lighting systems for understanding thermal implications of the same.

Scope

  • Sun path Diagrams (sunlight analysis) 
  • Daylight Analysis 
  • Indoor lighting adequacy/technology 
  • Luminaries and LPD (Lighting Power Density) for Indoor Lighting design 
  • Glare reduction
